To use this chart, simply put your finger tips on the fret-board as shown by the numbered dots on each chord diagram.
- Remember not to play the strings marked with a red letter as this is not part of the chord.
The finger numbers (as noted in the diagram) are suggested fingerings. Try changing your choice of finger for each dot until you find the comfortable position for your playing.
Some teachers / tutors believe certain fingers should be in certain locations for each chord but we think comfort is far better for encouraging playing. Once you've mastered the basics there is plenty of time to perfect technique.
With this card you should be able to play most songs and have a great skill set to impress.
