Our History

MiRo music is the product of passion and necessity. Bob and Richard, two enthusiastic guitar players and budding singer songwriters, were discussing how to find chords in various keys, and where they could find such lists (having not studied for years at college). A brief search of the internet revealed various indications, but you don’t always have the internet to hand when inspiration comes knocking. “Better to have this written down” agreed Bob and Richard. So Bob, being a professional designer, set off designing the chord layout that you see today on the easy to use clearly printed cards. Hmmm, Richard thought, I bet there’s a few people who would be very happy to have one of these. A quick poll of fellow musicians showed that, yes indeed people would like to have a simple to use guide! Hence MiRo music was conceived, to help other aspiring musicians with not only key chord finders, but beginner chords, and advanced chords too, And left handed chord cards!

We are now offering international postage on all of our A5 chord cards.

Over the past year MiRo has expanded it range of cards to include Barre chords and Scales cards for guitar plus Chords and scales for the piano. As part of our commitment to helping people we have decided that we will donate 10% of the price of each card the Butterwick Hospice. A local charity which holds a strong place in Bob's heart.
